A developer is nearing the completion of a new 68-unit, age- and income-restricted apartment building in the Marlton section of Evesham.

Known as Cornerstone at Greentree, the development by Walters is slated to open at 16 Stow Road during the first quarter. The Barnegat-based firm is now holding a housing lottery for the property until Feb. 16, with the first residents slated to move in by April.

“We are proud to be building high-quality housing that is a huge benefit to its residents and the community,” said Joseph Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters. “The new community not only helps support a sustainable lifestyle, it also offers a safe place to live with impressive amenities and services.”

In a news release, Walters said the four-story building consists of one- and two-bedroom homes leased exclusively to residents whose incomes are at or below 60 percent of the area median income. Rates are based on the renter’s gross annual income, according to the rent and income requirements chart.

Features at the building include a community room, elevators, a fitness room and secure key fob access, along with internet in common areas and on-site management and maintenance, the news release said. A staffed social service coordinator will be available upon request. Applicants can enter the lottery by completing an application available by visiting wgapts.com or by calling 856-346-6885.
