Walters, an award-winning developer, presented college scholarships totaling $8,000 to four students from Barnegat and Southern Regional High School. Since starting the annual program, Walters has sponsored 43 scholarships totaling over $88,000.
This year, the recipients were Sarah Capone and Ryleigh McDonald from Southern Regional High School; and Jane Haviland and Alyssa Trimarco from Barnegat High School. Each student was awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
“We are proud to continue our tradition of honoring the students’ achievement with these meaningful scholarships,” said Ed Walters Jr., founder, and partner of Walters, who grew up in Southern Ocean County and attended Southern Regional High School. “We look forward to seeing all that these deserving students will achieve.”
