Easter celebrations were in full swing at Walters Apartments! Our residents spent the weekend making festive crafts together, going on egg hunts, eating candy, and of course, getting a visit from the Easter Bunny himself!
Residents at Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow kicked off the holiday weekend with an afternoon Egg Hunt! It was a beautiful day filled with chances to win some amazing prizes. Three lucky winners who found golden eggs won Easter baskets full of candy, bracelets, bubbles and a $25 gift certificate to the Mainland Adventure Park!
Laurel Oaks Apartments, Cornerstone at Lacey and Stafford Park Apartments also hopped in on the fun with Easter Egg Hunts for kids. After the hunt, the Easter Bunny drove through Stafford Park to wave hello to some of our youngest residents! Thank you to Causeway Ford, who was kind enough to give the Easter Bunny a ride through the community in a super cool, Bunny Bronco truck!
It wasn’t just Walters Apartments children who had a fun-filled Easter weekend, some of our 55 and better residents also joined in on the festivities!
Cornerstone at Toms River and Cornerstone at Barnegat’s Craft Corner groups put together sock bunnies to decorate their apartments ahead of Easter Sunday! The activity was led by Walters Apartments Social Services.
Overall, the Easter weekend celebrations were a huge success for all our communities and for residents of every age! These are traditions we look forward to every year and a great chance for neighbors to come together for some Easter fun.
