Walters Apartments has opened the affordable housing lottery for Cornerstone at Hainesport, a 72-unit premium income-restricted apartment community located along Creek Road in the Burlington County township of Hainesport. Occupancy for the first building is slated for January 2026. Applications to enter the housing lottery will be accepted through Thursday, Octubre 16. The drawing will take place on Wednesday, Octubre 29.

Located near the Mount Laurel border, the community will span six buildings with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with individual entrances. Parking will be available for residents. All homes will be income-restricted for families earning 60 percent or less of the area’s median income. According to the rent and income requirements chart, rates are based on the renter’s gross annual income.
Designed by Donovan Architects, Cornerstone at Hainesport is being constructed to achieve LEED® requirements and ENERGY STAR® certification.
Apartments will feature open floor plans, upgraded interior finishes, and signature detailing that has won Walters many awards over the years. Residents will enjoy a long list of amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, children’s tot lot, basketball court, and community clubhouse with computer workstations. Units are equipped with in-unit washers/dryers. A staffed social service coordinator will be available upon request.
