Walters recently awarded academic scholarships totaling $8,000 to four local seniors from Barnegat and Southern Regional High Schools in Ocean County. Since establishing its annual scholarship program, Walters has presented close to 50 scholarships amounting to nearly $100,000.
Students receiving Walters 2025 scholarships are:

• Logan Ryan, Barnegat High School
• Logan Edward Russak, Escuela Secundaria Regional del Sur
• Kailey Triant, Escuela Secundaria Regional del Sur
“We’re proud to recognize these four outstanding students as they take the next step in their educational journeys; we have no doubt that each will be successful,” said Ed Walters Jr., founder and partner at Walters, who was raised in southern Ocean County and graduated from Southern Regional High School. “Our scholarship program is near and dear to our hearts, reflecting our dedication to investing in and strengthening our local communities.”

In addition to its annual scholarship program, Walters has supported a range of organizations and charitable initiatives to support and give back to the communities where it is active. Those have included the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Fullfill Monmouth & Océano, Hábitat para la humanidad, Juguetes para Tots, Barnegat Volunteer Fire Company, and Barnegat and Stafford Girls Softball Leagues, as well as numerous hurricane relief efforts.
