Walters held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Cornerstone at Hainesport, a LEED®-certified community offering 72 premium income-restricted apartments. The event was held at 2801 Creek Road in Hainesport. Joining the Walters’ team was Hainesport Township Mayor Andy Dick, Hainesport Committeewoman Anna Evans, Hainesport Committeeman Ken Montgomery, Burlington County Division of Construction Services, and Lumberton EMS Station 139 personnel.
Located along the banks of the Rancocas Creek in Burlington County, the development was completed earlier this year and has already reached 70 percent occupancy, reflecting the strong demand for high-quality affordable housing in the region.
“We are proud to create a place that families can call home, and we remain committed to being a long-term presence in this community,” said Joseph Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters. “Throughout the process, we worked closely with local officials and community stakeholders to ensure this project reflected the needs and priorities of Hainesport.”
Cornerstone at Hainesport comprises 72 one-, deux-, and three-bedroom apartments in six buildings. The new community is open to individuals and families who do not make more than 60 percent of the area’s median income. Les tarifs de location sont basés sur le revenu annuel brut du locataire, selon le barème loyer/exigences de revenus.
Apartments feature open floor plans, upgraded interior finishes, and signature detailing that has won Walters many awards over the years. The long list of amenities includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, children’s playground, BBQ area, and community clubhouse with computer workstations. Apartments are equipped with in-unit washers/dryers. A staffed social service coordinator is available upon request.
Hainesport is situated near the Mount Laurel border, offering a blend of small-town charm and modern convenience. Residents enjoy proximity to shopping, dining, healthcare services, and recreational opportunities, while commuters benefit from convenient access to Route 38, Route 541, and I-295, providing direct connections to Philadelphia and major employment centers throughout South Jersey.
