Walters, an award-winning developer, has reached a milestone in the construction of Cornerstone at Hainesport, a 72-unit residential community in Burlington County. The premium income-restricted development is now welcoming its first residents. Located along Creek Road in Burlington County, the new community is expected to be completed in the spring of 2026, according to the developer.

Cornerstone at Hainesport is designed to attain LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certifications, offering 72 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in six buildings. The community is open to individuals and families who do not make more than 60 percent of the area’s median income. Rental rates are based on income and the size of the number of bedrooms.

Apartments feature open floor plans, upgraded interior finishes, and signature detailing that has won Walters many awards over the years. The long list of amenities includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, playground, basketball court, and community clubhouse with computer workstations. Apartments are equipped with in-unit washers/dryers. A staffed social service coordinator will be available upon request.

Located near the Mount Laurel border, the historic town of Hainesport is known for its small-town charm with numerous local events, seasonal festivals, and active civic organizations. Residents have easy access to shopping, dining, and healthcare.
