Walters held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Cornerstone at Galloway, a multiphased premium income-restricted community located at 110 South Wrangleboro Road. Among the attendees were Galloway Township Mayor Anthony Coppola; Deputy Mayor Tony DiPietro; Councilman RJ Amato; Councilwoman Christine Mannis Jordan; Assemblyman Donald Guardian, New Jersey Sen. Vincent Polistina; and Walter’s employees.

The Grand Opening of Cornerstone at Galloway marks the completion of the three-phased project, bringing the community’s total to198 premium units. All three phases were completed earlier this year.
“At Walters, our focus is on building vital income-based housing which enables people to live where they choose based on their needs and aspirations,” said Joe Del Duca, Partner and Director of Affordable Housing Walters. “Our LEED certified developments enhance the quality of life for residents as well as the broader community.”
Apartment layouts maximize style and space, and include one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Some of the units offer private front-door entrances that open directly to the street. Key features include in-unit washers/dryers, fully equipped kitchens, and window blinds in every room. Residents also have access to a range of amenities including a multipurpose clubhouse, state-of-the-art fitness center, children’s playground, basketball court, computer workstations, and onsite parking. In addition to managing the property, Walters also offers on-site supportive services to help meet residents’ needs.
The new community is open to individuals and families who do not make more than 60 percent of the area’s median income. Rental rates are based on the renter’s gross annual income, according to the rent/income requirements chart. To learn more about Cornerstone at Galloway, visit the community page.
