Compliance Administrator

Compliance Administrator – Part-time

We are seeking a part-time Compliance Administrator to work out of our corporate office in Barnegat, NJ.  Travel will be occasionally required.  

Hours: This is a part-time position and applicants can be expected to work up to 30 hours per week.  This position has the opportunity to turn full-time with a weekly, 40 hours.

Preferred skills and professional characteristics:

  • Industry training, certification and/or prior experience with state agency compliance manuals, IRS forms and guides, and/or the HUD 4350.3 handbook
  • Highly organized and reliable person with ability to analyze data, pay close attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must be an independent, motivated, and resourceful person with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong computer skills including internet searches, email, Word, Excel, Google
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

Experience in Affordable Housing/Tax Credit and/or Property Management is a plus but not a requirement.  You will learn how to conduct interviews to obtain information and to complete documents that are required in order to determine household eligibility; securing 3rd party verification forms in order to obtain information regarding income and/or assets; calculate household income as described in the HUD Handbook 4350.3 to determine program eligibility.
